Description
The Axkid Mini Kid features ASIP (Axkid Side Impact Protection), which is additional protection that it used on the side of the car seat that is closest to the car door. Developed in Germany with a recognised crash institute, it ensures that the best possible protection is provided in the event of a collision. If the car seat is used in the middle, ASIP is not required.
Installation is made easier with the self-adjusting tether straps which need to be “wiggled” into place to get the best fit possible in your car. The new and improved support leg can be adjusted with just the push of one button and has 5 different positions depending on the age and size of your child. The internal harness and headrest will also adjust automatically depending on your child’s length and size, making it easier to ensure your child is in the car sear correctly.
Comfort for your little one is important when it comes to long journeys, therefore, the Axkid MiniKid (2018) features a thicker and comfier headrest which is perfect when little one is sleeping. It also features the new and improved design of the car seat cover makes it even easier for fabrics to be removed to be washed.
Although the Axkid Minikid has no minimum weight, this seat is designed to be used when your baby can sit up unaided. We always recommend using an infant carrier initally as this provides the best support and is designed for the smallest babies. Once baby has outgrown the infant carrier, the Axkid Minikid includes a black baby cushion which should be used to better support the youngest children.
